Will a HD receiver work on a non Hd TV?
As long as the reciever and TV have the ability to connect, you will no problems vieiwing the content, you simply won't see it in HD.
Keep in mind some HD receivers only have HDMI out, and a standard def TV will likely not have HDMI. You may need to purchase a third party cable to make it work.
