Shaw Direct currently offers 2 LNB models, the 60E or the 75E. Each LNB corresponds to a dish model, so the 60E LNB is only compatible with the 60E dish and the 75E LNB only works with the 75E dish.
It will, with the Shaw 75E dish.
The newest LNB is called a Triple Satellite Quad Output xKu LNB.
Yes. There is a LNB made for either the 60E or 75E dish size.
By using a Shaw Direct approved switch, you can increase your outputs from 4 to 8.
For Shaw direct all previous receivers and both the new 800/830 will work on the old style LNB.
All 600, 630, 800 and 830 receivers will work on the new xKu LNB.
If you move a receiver from an "old" Ku to a "new" xKu, or vice versa, Shaw will need to be contacted and informed of the change, as they need to indicate it on your account for it to work.
We recommend having all the LNBs on your system be consistent and the same age to ensure no issues.
Yes. The 800 and 830 work on both the new Triple LNB and older Dual LNB. We still recommend upgrading the LNB sooner than later, as it will be a mandatory change in the coming years.
