Intellian v80G Ku-band with 83cm (32.7 inch) Reflector, X-pol and Co-pol, NJRC 8W Extended BUC & PLL LNB (V2-81-CJW1)
The Intellian v80G is a fully integrated 83cm Ku-band 3-axis, stabilized maritime VSAT system that acquires and locks onto the satellite without requiring a separate input from the ship's gyro-compass. This allows a reliable, "always-on" broadband connection at sea.
The latest solution from Intellian, the v80G, can be configured for either TDMA or SCPC satellite networks. The new Antenna Control Unit (ACU) supports Wi-Fi access through the ACU as well as USB data port access for upgrades and maintenance and the built-in Bluetooth connection module inside of the antenna can enable a remote PC connection.
The v80G is suitable for high-speed internet, weather chart updates, email, file and image transfer, video conference, VoIP, VPNs and database backup. The high-Gain RF performance design enables the antenna to operate on the fringes of the signal footprint with superior results. The Dual System Mediator for expanded redundancy and fail safe applications is also an option with this versatile and innovative VSAT communication system.
Intellian's v80G features unlimited azimuth range (no cable un-wrap), Wide Elevation Angle (-15?? to +100??), a pre-programmed Global satellite library, Built-in GPS, Gyro-free search, and easy-to-use remote management and maintenance functions. The v80G VSAT communication system is compatible with service providers using the iDirect, Hughes, Comtech, and SatLink modems. Additional modem networks are continually being added to our scope of connection.
The built-in Antenna Control Unit (ACU) Web Interface provides Remote IP access and system diagnosis, eliminating the need for an engineer to attend the vessel to perform routine maintenance and setup parameters. Intellian v-Series system components can be accessed, monitored, and controlled from any web based location in the world. Uplogix and OpenAMIP compatible, the benefits to end users are reduced operational costs, faster resolution when issues arise and improved security and compliance vs. centralized only management.
Hundreds of maintenance routines can be automated, such as firmware upgrades, tracking parameters, system resets, and diagnosis including antenna performance history data logs.
The v80G also accommodates single or multi-band LNBs, both cross-pol and co-pol feeds and offers BUC options from 4W to 8W to mini 16W. It is designed and built to meet or exceed industry and military standards for vibration, shock and environmental testing to ensure reliability in rugged sea conditions.
