What symptoms occur when an LNB is starting to fail?
General problems that arise when an LNB, cable, or switch is starting to fail can be as simple as poor picture quality, scrambled channels, the dish only receivng one satellite, or a series of channels missing (like odds/evens).
There is no great way to know which part of the system has failed besides trial and error. Bypassing switches or moving receivers to a different location can help determine the issue.
